Brotherhood for the Fallen NYC
Brotherhood for the Fallen NYC is a fraternal charity in which members of the NYPD become members. We send NYPD officers to police combat line of duty funerals throughout the United States. We cover the travel expenses (air, hotel, rental car) so the officers can attend the viewing and funeral services, continuing the long tradition of supporting fallen officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Our officers presence in distant areas of the country gives emotional encouragement to the family and fellow officers. While at the services, our officers present the family with a monetary gift to help with their immediate financial needs. In turn, our officers are enriched and return to their duties with a refreshed sense of pride in their uniform.
OfficerDown.US provides a portal for national, nonprofit, online fundraising to benefit LEOs, their families, co-workers, departments, and the community as related to by Law Enforcement. We support all of the above whether on duty or off duty, injured or fallen, so long as they were once an honorably commissioned Law Enforcement professional.
LEO Near Miss
We encourage law enforcement personnel to share their near-miss stories and the lessons learned from them to prevent fellow officers from being injured or killed. If we can help a brother or sister in blue make it home at the end of his or her shift, we have an obligation to act.
Sharing your story is an anonymous, secure, non-punitive, and confidential process.
